We Need To Do Something

We’re here to prove to everyone that the word gay is not in any way to mean inferior, stupid, or anything negative!

The word gay originally meant happy. How did we get to the point where people use it as a derogatory term? Help us spread the word by telling your friends about us and reblogging our efforts to prove to the world that gay is not bad!

There was a boy after school the other day who said something was “gay” and my friend’s brother asked him if the object had feelings and the kid said no, he meant “gay like stupid” and I started yelling so hard at the kid and people had to tell me to calm down.

Another friend told me that in one of her classes, some boys in front of her said that “eventually gay will mean stupid”. WE DON’T WANT THIS.

People this generation. We need to teach them. GAY IS NOT THE EQUIVALENT OF STUPID. Not even close. Gay is happy, or homosexual. In no way do I see anything WRONG about it.

I’m going to make a Tumblr blog, like a club for this. To spread the word around and to teach people so our children and their children and generations after don’t see gay as “stupid” or “dumb”, but as it’s proper meaning.
